The Works Are in Bad Zell

My works are no longer with me. I personally handed them over to the Mayor of Bad Zell, Martin Moser, in autumn 2025 — as a gift to my home community.

Bad Zell is where everything began. This is where I held a carving knife for the first time as a boy. It felt right that the rest of the works should also return there.

Why donate them?

Because this way they are more than just items on a shelf. A carved piece that nobody sees is just a piece of wood. In a building where people come and go, it becomes again what it was made for.

Where they are going

As of July 2026

Bad Zell is currently building a new community centre. The groundbreaking was on 24 June 2026. Architect Johannes Quast has designed two buildings in the centre of the village. Completion is planned for late 2027, opening for 2028.

The works are to have their own dedicated space in the new building. The exact location has not yet been determined. Once it is confirmed, it will be published here.
